You might expect concept art for a game years away from its release to look drastically different from the finished product, but that just wasn't the case with the first Assassin's Creed. Based on recently released concept art from 2004, Ubisoft clearly had the right idea from the start. In fact, the only thing that's strikingly different is a concept for a female assassin, something they have yet deliver to a certain fangirl who'd like nothing more than go around hiding blades in her huge Victorian skirt.
