Daredevil’s tales are coming to an end in May with the close of the eight issue series,Daredevil: End of Days. It’s only fitting that it be Brian Michael Bendis and David Mack who put him to rest, having crafted what are arguably the character’s defining stories (possibly barring Miller and Mazzucchelli’s Born Again).
There’s a host of Daredevil veterans along for the ride, with Klaus Janson providing the art and Bill Sienkiewicz on inks. Possibly the strongest link to the legendary Daredevil volume two are the covers by Alex Maleev (who appears to join Bendis on the cover for issue #3). Maleev’s artwork during his run set the tone for the entire series, making Daredevil darker than ever before. Check out his amazing covers for End of Days below.
