G.I. Joe and The Cape (not the crappy one, the Locke & Key one) cover artist Nelson Dániel’s work is awesome. His sharp line work, along with the mixture of traditional colors and screentoning, meshes well with his eye for layout and composition. The exagerrated figures and stark use of light and dark remind me of the work of Skottie Young and Chris Bachalo. Check out his striking work below.
